The BD Venflon™ Pro Safety needle cannula is a peripheral venous catheter (CVP) with injection port and passive safety system, designed to minimise the risk of unexpected blood spatter and needle stick injuries.

The material of the BD Vialon™ catheter (radiopaque and biocompatible polyurethane) softens up to 70% in the vein, allowing a longer time in the vein, minimising interruptions and reducing the risk of mechanical phlebitis.
