For easy disposal of used needles, GIMA has developed the Security System.
This needle destroyer is designed to quickly melt needles up to 1.2 mm in diameter; thanks to its power, reaching a temperature of 1,000 °C, it can also melt needles up to 1.6 mm in diameter.
The needles are destroyed and sterilised simultaneously, while the waste material, collected in a drawer at the base of the device, can be disposed of through normal routes without the problems and costs of disposal as special waste.
Simple, safe, built with the best quality materials, it is guaranteed for a long service life. It weighs just over 4 kg.
