High-precision instrument for measuring subcutaneous fat thickness and assessing the amount of total fat in a subject.

Possibility of recalibration
Built to international standards, the Gima plicometer is equipped with spring-loaded arms that exert a pressure of 10 g/mm2 on the skin fold and an accurate scale in mm for measuring fat thickness. The possibility of calibrating the pressure exerted eliminates problems due to loosening of the spring tension over time.

Easy to use and read
It comes with a digital display and a leaflet showing the correct positioning for data collection. A special table facilitates calculation of fat % and assessment of the patient's general condition from the data collected.

Elegant and user-friendly design
A special nylon finish prevents the patient from the discomfort of contact with metal. Supplied in an elegant wooden case (19x36xh 6 cm).
