PORTABLE SCOLIOMETER

Plastic instrument for the initial assessment of scoliosis (lateral deviation of the spine, left or right), to be followed by an examination by an orthopaedist. It allows the comparison of results over time and thus a precise definition of the evolution of the pathological process detected by the specialist. The small ball oscillating within a gap indicates the degree of inclination with respect to the horizontal plane. The measurements provided are approximate and not sufficient for a complete diagnosis.
