FUME EXTRACTOR

Extraction and filtering system for fumes produced during electrosurgical procedures. Fumes generated during electrosurgical procedures have an unpleasant, strong and long-lasting odour. These fumes consist mainly of water vapour, organic gases, visible or invisible solid particles and viral particles. Good suction and filtration eliminates unpleasant odours, reduces bacteriological and/or viral risks and solves the problem of optimal vision of the operating area during laparoscopic procedures.

Suction activation can take place
- Automatically, by means of the remote electronic activation detection system of a high-frequency electrosurgical unit
- Manually, by acting directly on the unit
- Via a foot control (optional)
The suction flow can be adjusted to suit individual needs.

For laparoscopic procedures there is a specific function, which can be called up quickly. It has an electronic suction control with filter wear status indication. Two types of filters are available, which are quickly replaceable and consist of ULPA-type filtration with an active carbon stage: The BLUE filter is the standard filter supplied with the unit, for initial use time (5 hours), The RED filter is an optional replacement filter, ideal for high use time (20 hours). They have a 7/8" connection. - Supply voltage: 230 V (115 V on request)
