High-frequency electronic scalpel suitable for monopolar medium surgery and bipolar coagulation.

Operation modes include clean cut, coagulated cut, forced coagulation, soft coagulation and bipolar coagulation with forceps.

It can be used with normal or neutral plate.

The Diatermo MB160 is particularly suitable if the operating field is very humid, e.g. mucous membranes, or if the tissue composition is very varied, resulting in the need for a usable power reserve. For these reasons, the MB160 Diatermo is recommended for gynaecological and orthopaedic surgery.

Total safety: OC (open circuit) alarm: an acoustic signal and a flashing red light warn the user that the plate is not inserted. In this case, cutting and coagulation operations are set to OFF.
