Book of 24 plates

The examination of dyschromatopsia requires a high level of sensitivity and specificity.

This series of tables makes it possible to detect colour-blindness in people who cannot read and abnormalities in colour perception from an early age.
The tables are designed with simple geometric shapes, as the person examined may not be able to understand complicated shapes.

The test provides a quick and accurate assessment of possible congenital dyschromatopsias.

In most cases, the abnormality in colour perception consists of a lack of red-green distinction, which can be of two types:
- protan, absolute (protanopia) or partial (protanomaly)
- deutane, absolute (deuteranopia) or partial (deuteranomaly)
