Patented Axial PointSource™ optics:
Facilitates diagnosis in the presence of undilated pupils and provides a 25° field of view allowing a five-fold increase in fundus vision compared to that obtained with a standard ophthalmoscope and undilated pupils.

HPX™ Halogen Bulb:
Provides a whiter and brighter light

Anti-reflection system:
Eliminates interference from unwanted reflections.

3.5V Welch Allyn power supply:
Compatible with any standard 3.5V power supply, including: desktop recharger handles, convertible battery handles, wall transformers and the lithium battery handle.

Eye support for the patient:
Allows the correct visual distance to be adjusted and maintained, provides image stability for a panoramic view around the retina and insulates from ambient light. The eye support can be cleaned and reused.

Soft PanOptic handle:
The ergonomic handle provides maximum comfort, stability and access to optimal adjustments.

Diaphragm selector switch:
Allows selection of micro-spot, small and large diaphragms. Also includes red-opaque filter, slit diaphragm and half-moon diaphragm for corneal examinations.

Dynamic focusing disc:
Allows focus adjustment by a simple continuous movement for more precise control and optimal vision. Focusing with dioptric power between -20 and +20 dioptres.
