TORSO DUAL SEX - 25 parts

This full-scale, unisex anatomical model consists of 25 parts.
Accuracy and attention down to the smallest reproduction detail make our medallions an essential tool for the study of anatomy.
The most important structures are numbered and identified by the relevant serial numbers supplied with the product. In addition, countless insights are provided by the CD-Rom guide.
The head is presented in an open conformation that leaves half of the brain exposed.
The neck is dissected ventrally in order to best show the muscular, neural and glandular structures. The thorax and abdomen, completely open, allow an unrestricted view of internal organs and details.
Independent male and female urogenital systems can be inserted and interchanged within the torso.
The following removable structures are part of the anatomical model:
- Half brain, sectioned along the longitudinal fissure, complete with internal structures and blood vessels
- Eyes with optic nerve and extra-ocular muscles
- Descending thoracic aorta and oesophagus
- Right and left lungs show bronchial tree and vascular elements
- Heart in two parts illustrates atria, ventricles, heart valves, and section through the ventricular wall of the heart
- Half kidney, sectioned along the frontal plane to best show internal structures and blood vessels
- Kidney, urethra and bladder, with prostate (removable in two parts)
- Stomach, showing muscular and vascular structures
- Pancreas, duodenum and spleen with blood vessels and ducts
- Liver with gall bladder
- Rectum and large intestine with removable cover revealing the internal structure of the caecum
