Intravenous single-needle indwelling catheter made of PUR, radiopaque, with fixation flaps (Introcan Certo W) or without fixation flaps (Introcan Certo). Recommended length of stay: 30 days. Duration, however, is subject to change according to reference guidelines and hospital and institutional protocols. Introcan indications:
- Setting up secure peripheral venous or arterial access.
- Transfusions and infusions of infusion solutions applicable by peripheral venous route.
- Repeated intravenous administrations of drugs.
- Repeated blood draws.
- Endo-arterial measurement of blood pressure.
