Medium-term absorbable synthetic braided and coated suture consisting of Polyglycolic and Lactic Acid (PGLA) and antibacterial agent chlorhexidine diacetate to reduce the risk of bacterial attachment and colonization of the suture. Novosyn® CHD, having high tissue compatibility, degrades by hydrolysis and provides predictable and reliable absorption. Novosyn® is available with purple or colorless thread. Absorption: 21 days 50%, complete absorption in 56-70 days.
