Mepilex is a sterile polyurethane foam dressing for chronic wounds such as venous leg ulcers, pressure ulcers or diabetic ulcers. Mepilex minimises pain and trauma to the wound and skin at dressing changes. Mepilex can be cut to size and is therefore ideal for areas of the body that are difficult to dress. It is ideal for use on a wide range of lightly to moderately exuding wounds and chronic wounds such as lower limb ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers, or for acute injuries such as burns and skin tears.
