Two-way male catheter with rounded edges - 38 cm.
Nelaton: proximal end rounded and straight, has 1 opposing drainage hole.
Gauge: the unit of measurement of the catheter is the Charriere or French scale (1ch = 1fr = 1/3 mm) and corresponds to the diameter of the catheter. According to need, the catheter size should be as small as possible, e.g. approximately 14-16 ch for clear urine, 18-20 ch for cloudy urine and 20-24 ch for patients with haematuria.
Depending on the intended use, the bladder catheter has different shapes and sizes.
