Betadine 10% ointment 100 g

Betadine ointment is an antiseptic gel for the treatment of small wounds and skin infections. The active ingredient in Betadine, Iodopovidone (10% Iodine), is active on Gram + and Gram - bacteria, fungi, protozoa, yeasts and some viruses. Iodopovidone has the advantage over elemental Iodine in that it is soluble in water and is less irritating and well tolerated by skin and mucous membranes. It offers a medicated protection of deep wounds and prevents any bandage from adhering to the wound itself.
