Glucose 5% glass bottle 500 ml

Glucose solution for injection, sterile and apyrogenic. Available in 5% and 33%. Indicated for conditions requiring restoration of hydration in combination with caloric intake, especially in patients who do not require salts or where salts should be avoided, for restoring blood glucose concentrations in cases of hypoglycaemia. Low-concentration glucose solutions (5%-10%) may also be used as diluent solutions for the preparation of parenteral medicinal solutions or suspensions, as indicated in the Summary of Product Characteristics of the medicinal product to be administered.
