Each test Includes 20 tests, instructions for use and a card with lot number. Each test contains a test strip, a dropper and a packet of desiccant.
ATTENTION: SHORT SHELF LIFE TESTS. The tests have a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production. The stock may vary from 10 to 22 months.
It is based on the antigen-antibody reaction principle and the immunoassay technique. It contains recombinant SARS-CoV-2 protein labelled with colloidal gold, murine IgG antibodies directed against human antigens, immobilised in the G test area, murine IgM antibodies directed against human antigens, immobilised in the M test area, and the corresponding antibody in the quality control area (C). Antibodies are secreted after virus invasion: immunoglobulin M (IgM) is produced first as an initial signal of infection, while immunoglobulin G (IgG) is produced later and elicits a more specific and stronger reaction to the virus. The sample is positive when reddish-purple bands appear in area C and either or both areas G and M. The sample is negative if the coloured band appears only in area C.
