Through gel formation, debris and all bacteria in the wound exudate can be retained within the fibers of the dressing and removed once the dressing is changed.

Askina® Calgitrol® Paste from B. Braun is a highly conformable dressing based on calcium alginate and silver ions. The filling and tightly adhering ability to the wound bed allows management of bacterial load and exudate in all cases of difficult-to-approach wounds.

Indications for use.
