TECAR THERAPY CR200 - with two probes
Diathermy, known as Tecar therapy (an acronym for Capacitive and Resistive Energy Transfer), is a therapy that stimulates the body's natural repair processes, shortening motor recovery times.
Diathermy, through electromagnetic energy-tissue interaction, produces an increase in temperature that occurs within the tissues in a uniform and controlled manner. This interaction results in the appearance of an ionic flow with a micro-hyperaemia that promotes the release of endogenous 'substances' (mainly cortisol and endorphins) to reduce pain, oedema and inflammation.
The new capacitive/resistive CR200 is a modern, high-performance device. Preset programmes make the device easy to use. In addition, the device can set parameters (power supply, therapy duration, resistive/capacitive mode) according to therapeutic needs.
It allows personalised programmes to be stored. This allows patient protocols to be easily consulted by therapists at any time. Equipped with a large graphic display to show therapy parameters and different operating modes.

Capacitive mode
Electrode coated with ceramic material (mobile) and return plate (fixed). Particularly suitable for soft tissue (muscle mass and lymphatic/vascular system). Advantages: specific intervention: easy control of the treated area.
Resistive mode
Non-isolated electrode (mobile) and return plate (fixed). Particularly suitable for tissues with greater resistance (bones, joints, tendons, ligaments, cartilage). Advantages: high level of diathermy; chronic disorders with fibrosis and degeneration.
