The bell-shaped design protects against the risk of too strong a jet.
The speculum directs the 3 jets of water towards the walls of the ear canal, away from the tympanic membrane
tympanic membrane, thus producing a strong wash that removes earwax.

The outlet part controls the return jets and directs the drainage towards the basin.
