Fitostimoline plus gauze is a medical device for dermatological use consisting of single-dose gauze pads impregnated with water-dispersible cream. With Rigenase (wheat extract) and polyhexanide. Phytostimoline plus gauze forms a protective barrier against the external environment creating favourable conditions for a rapid and correct re-epithelialising action on the skin and helps to keep the skin's microenvironment under control; therefore the product is indicated for the treatment of ulcers, sores, wounds, first and second degree burns, scalds, abrasions. Rigenase is a specific germinated wheat extract. The presence of polyhexanide reduces the risk of bacterial contamination.

Betadine 10% in the form of impregnated gauze, size 10x10, serves as a disinfectant and antiseptic for disinfecting injured skin (wounds, sores). The active ingredient, Iodopovidone (10% Iodine), is active on Gram + and Gram - bacteria, fungi, protozoa, yeasts and some viruses. It also has the advantage over elemental Iodine of being water-soluble and less irritating and well-tolerated by skin and mucous membranes.

Connettivina Gauze stimulates skin repair and regeneration, accelerating the healing of abrasions, grazes, superficial wounds, burns, minor burns and breast fissures. Connettivina is also indicated in localised skin irritations caused by physical agents such as sun, cold, wind, nappy rash, irritation and dehydration following radiotherapy treatments.

Connettivina can also be used as an adjunct in the treatment of skin ulcers of vascular origin and slow-healing wounds such as pressure sores.

Before using the plasters make sure the wound is well cleaned, disinfected and not bleeding, also clean at least 5 centimetres around the wound, and wait a few minutes for the surface to dry completely. Open the pouch and take out the paper backing, tear off one of the two paper tabs at the ends and remove the first strip. Apply the strip starting from the centre of the wound on the first flap of the cut crosswise and trying to bring the wound edges as close as possible, adhere the other half of the strip taking care to press the two sides firmly together. Complete the suture with further strips positioned approximately 2-3 mm apart. For removal, apply gentle pressure in the centre, then lift the ends of the strips.
