The GIMA Body Fat Analyser measures the flow of electrical signals (impedance or electrical resistance of the human body) through ADIPOSE, LEAN tissues (muscles, bones, organs) or WATER. When the amount of adipose, lean tissue or water changes, so does the signal
of body mass, thus providing a reliable and accurate measure of the proportion of each of these components in the total weight.
Specifically, four electrodes are applied to the metacarpals and metatarsals, with a current of 50 kHz. The signal level corresponds to the index of water mass and total fat mass. It only takes 2 minutes for this essential and very simple test. The procedure takes only 2 minutes and provides the same accuracy as other more expensive devices.

The GIMA podoscope with polarised light allows observation of the plantar surface and, thanks to its remarkable brightness, highlights the areas of greatest pressure. The structure on which the feet rest is made of highly resistant methacrylate, with excellent light-conducting capacities, which through polarisation of the light allows significant variations in chromatic intensity on the points of greatest and least plantar load.

High-quality materials and components, assembly and continuous checks during production and final testing ensure superior precision. The resilient structure can withstand loads of up to 135 kg. The green LED light has a lifetime of 25,000 hours (indicated by the manufacturer).

POSTURAL ANALYSER
Useful for analysing posterior, anterior and lateral posture.
The patient must stand with their feet in the position indicated on the footplate.
The analyser consists of a footplate, a plastic grid, two aluminium side rods complete with millimetre gauges where the sliders with wires for postural alignment (Barré vertical) run and an adjustable mirror.
The image reflected on the upper mirror allows observation of all shoulder rotations.
