Melgisorb Ag is a sterile antimicrobial absorbent alginate thread dressing indicated for the treatment of all moderately to highly exuding, partial and full-thickness wounds, such as post-operative wounds, trauma wounds (of the dermis, trauma wounds or incisions), lower limb ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, graft and donor sites, cavity wounds, superficial burns and partial-thickness burns. Mepilex Border Ag is a sterile all-in-one polyurethane foam dressing for medium to highly exudating wounds, such as burns or pressure ulcers, when signs of infection are present. Mepilex Border Ag is a dressing with Safetac technology, which ensures that pain and skin damage is minimised at dressing changes. In addition, Mepilex Border Ag provides antimicrobial action as it releases silver ions into the wound on contact with exudates.
